Black Genes Matter® is more than a slogan—it's a movement. So, wear your best black attire and join us to learn about eliminating disparities in health outcomes for Black people!
By coming together and declaring that our genes matter, we can build a future where Black lives are longer, healthier, and filled with promise. Our genes determine our health, so let's use that knowledge to our advantage. The movement starts with us! Get tickets at bit.ly/BLACKGENESMATTERDMV!
In recognition of Prostate and Breast Cancer Awareness months, the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Prince George's County MD, DC Metro HBCU Alumni Alliance, and Touch4Life, a Black-founded and led 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to health equity, are partnering with churches, sororities, fraternities, HBCUs, and trusted community organizations to increase access to potentially life-saving information.
By focusing on our shared genetics and family health histories, Black Genes Matter® aims to empower people of color to take control of their health and live their best lives with information not being shared with us.
